V12 should work fine, but if you are running Apple Silicon, they will be running under Rosetta. AS Native came with V13. If you are running Windows or an Intel Mac, there shouldn't be any concerns. Try it, and you'll know for sure!
Re: DP 11 with Waves V12 Plugin Ins
Thanks HC,
Actually I’m trying to avoid trying it because that would mean I’ve upgraded DP and if V12 doesn’t work I’m stuck with having to do the dreaded waves update plan again. Everything going smoothly now with DP 10 and V12 (with Mac OS 12.4 btw) so was just wondering if anyone is using V12 with DP 11.
Thanks again

Re: DP 11 with Waves V12 Plugin Ins
I sincerely doubt DP11 will have trouble with Waves12, but understand your hesitation. If you can clone your boot drive and experiment with the clone, you could easily revert...
Re: DP 11 with Waves V12 Plugin Ins
I guess I’m not being clear with the question, my apologies.
If I can revert, that means I’ve already upgraded DP, which is what I’m trying to decide. And I’m less concerned about DP being able to handle V12, but that the V12 plug-ins will work from the Waves end since they don’t officially support DP11.
So, again, checking to see if anyone is successfully using Waves V12 plugins with DP11.
Thanks again

SOMEONE must be using DP11 with Waves 12... if only they would chime in!
Then again, you can do the following at no cost:
Clone your Boot Drive to a separate drive or volume.
Super Duper works well and you don't need to purchase a license to use it.
Boot from your Clone.
Download DP11, install, and run as a Demo for free.
Test and see if Waves 12 works with DP11. You have 30 days before the demo expires. Good Luck!

Re: DP 11 with Waves V12 Plugin Ins
I can’t see any indication what Mac or OS the OP is using which might be important here. I know that when I had my MacPro5,1 running Mojave, I had no problem running DP11 with Waves plug ins all the way down to Version 9. So if I had to bet on it, I’d say v.12 will work fine. I have a Mac Studio now so I got all my Waves plugs current to version 14 just to be native with Apple Silicon.
