Not sure if it will help you, but after I deleted everything MOTU related and rebooted before doing that, I reinstalled all mote software. I had to physically unplug and delete everything in my Audio/MIDI set-up. I then replugged each device one by one and just rebuilt everything and it finally worked. Worth a shot if you haven't done that. I hope it works for you. It seems if you allow it to use the older Audio/MIDI setup profile, it does not work. Need to completely redo that...

Hi sayatnova, thanks for the suggestion. I deleted everything from the Audio/MIDI Setup configuration, and then even created a new one. Unfortunately, Clockworks is still not recognizing my Midiexpress XT, even though it is showing up as a device plugged into a USB 3.1 port in my system report.. I'm going to keep trying, but I'm also going to start a work order with MOTU.

Ah, sorry to hear that. But at least you have a more complete answer for them to respond to to adresse this. I hope it gets fixed soon and you are back in business quickly.

Good news! My issue was solved this morning with a reply from Travis of MOTU, through a techlink I started yesterday. I had neglected to go into System Prefs, Security & Privacy, and then "Allow" the MOTU MIDI extension after installing the driver software. I feel like a newb for forgetting that, but am really glad to have a functional studio of hardware synths and routing options.
