I have emailed akaipro tech support this question and they sent me a video of someone printing the MPC software sequences as audio tracks.
I want to make drum patterns with the MPC studio Mk2 as a plug in within DP and mix the drum in the DP mixer and output the individual drums out separate audio interface outputs for analogue mixing without printing to audio tracks. Once printed as audio I know longer can make new patterns, edit patterns, switch drums live etc I don't want to commit drums to audio until the end of the composing process.
Has anyone used the MPC software as a plug in within Digital Performer?
Maybe the correct terminology is something like: Is the MPC software multi audio channel capable/compatible as a plug in?
I responded to the akai tech support guy via email, clarifying my question and asking again. I await his response.
Thanks,
Roman.
Can the MPC studio Mk2 output individual drums to separate DP mixer channels when used as a plug in?

Inmusic, akaipro tech support sent me this link that confirms the MPC software when used as a plug in within a DAW that allows multi out VST, the MPC software can send individual drums to separate DAW mixer channels.

Does MOTU Digital Performer support multi out VST instrument plug ins?
I am certain once drums are routed to DAW mixer channels I will be able to also output them to individual audio interface outputs for analogue mixing/monitoring.

Yes. It should work. Take a look in your Bundles Window. (Shift + U). You should also be able to create an Aux or Audio track and then click in the Input column in TOV and see the separate outputs from the VST or AU.
Forgive me if this isn’t exact. Not in front of DP right now.
