Everytime I open Quickscribe the Cursor Information ribbon in the Information Bar just shows a C in a circle and displays no information.
Click on the C, the cursor information floating window appears but nothing in the ribbon.
ALt-Click on the C, the cursor information floating window appears in cofig mode; Alt-Click on the information I want and the ribbon opens and will show information - until you make a change to the tracks showing in QS.
I want the Cursor Information ribbon in the Information Bar to be active every time I open or change a Quickscribe window.
Like it is for the other editors.
Like it was in 7.24
Is there any way to achieve this?

Re: Quickscribe CursorLocation ribbon in InformationBar (10.1)
DP 11.04
This bug is still around and my (almost) greatest irritant.
When I open Quickscribe I want to see the Cursor postion ribbon. Full-stop. Always. Full stop.
I am always changing the tracks being viewed in QS, and with every change the Cursor position will probably stop working. It is a real pain to get it back, too, but I have discovered a simple method of guaranteeing that it will appear (one that reminds me that I really shouldn't have to do this each time I use it) and that is to give focus to the Markers window! (i.e. open it if its not open, or click on it if it is). I don't really see the connection between viewing markers and cursor position window, but it is so far infallible, which makes a nice change.
PS. The cursor information ribbon in Quickscribe is the only place I know that shows the MIDI number for a MIDI note. Invaluable for putting in Keyselect values!!
