Man that was something I would NEVER have figured out on my own.
I had already put in a call to my repair guy, but noticed that when I hit the transpose-octave button on my MIDI-keyboard and played it on a different mechanical note, the note (E-1) STILL wouldn't show up in DP?

Or I guess I would had to write with no E's in the music forever-after, which would be an interesting exercise.
Sort of Schoenberg's little known or remembered first attempt; "11-Tone Serialism"?
