Harrison Mastering EQ
$9 for a few days. I haven't heard it, but assuming it has the usual Harrison "character", it could b useful in some cases. All the usual formats.

Re: Plug-in Sales and Special Deals Sticky Topic
Its way cool I got it a while back and works well and sounds great. I have a few of their other plugins which sound great but be forewarned the meters of the Muiltiband Compressor generate garbage automation data in DP (if automation record is enabled). I forget the process (because its too annoying to bother with so I stopped using it) but you have to tell DP to ignore that data for each track its used in so it doesn't get written.bayswater wrote: ↑Thu May 27, 2021 7:38 am $9 for a few days. BOZ Pan Knob $19; Claps, Stomps & Snaps
Here is a Pan knob plugin with a variable crossover — frequencies below stay centered — and adjustable center level. On sale for $19. There are times when this was exactly what I was looking for.
https://www.bozdigitallabs.com/plugins/
After I purchased and installed, I had to reboot my Mac before they would show up in DP. I had to type in the serial#—DP wouldn't let me paste. I'll live.
Claps, Stomps & Snaps includes three VIs, El Clappo, Das Boot and Le Snippett for $79.95. If I were to imagine the best hand clap VI, it would be a large assortment of samples over a MIDI keyboard. That's El Clappo. The other two are finger snaps and foot stomps. Only downside is that it requires Kontakt.
Interestingly, when I bought Pan Knob and logged back into my account, it showed Claps, Stomps & Snaps at a better sale price. I don't know if it's a secret sale or reflects the fact that I bought it pre-release late in 2020. If you do buy Pan Knob, log back in and see what the price is now — I don't want to get anyone's hopes up if it's just a web site mistake.
They have some freebies, too.

Rigid Audio Stombox (for Kontakt 6)
Rigid Audio sells these decent libraries. Throughout July, they are selling things for up to 95% off, every 72 hours.
Today I checked out their Stompbox, which I assumed was about "pedal effects", but it is actually an interesting percussion/fx library for Kontakt. The demo sounded pretty nice and versatile, so I bought for their absurdly low sale price of $3.48 It does require a full version of Kontakt 6.4.2 to fly.

I got their email about this one. I’m a sucker for reverb plugs and considering the price and with your recommendation I just grabbed it. PSP FETPressor
This is on sale until tomorrow for $29. I've stopped buying most effects plugins because I have dozens of every effect and don't use most of them. But I like and use PSP stuff and wonder if anyone has used this to their benefit. Does it do things the Masterworks FET 76 won't?

BOZ Claps, Stomps & Snaps $29
AudioDeluxe has the bundle on sale for $29, not quite the price I paid pre-release but sure beats $80. The individual modules are on sale for $15. I've used El Clappo to enhance a couple of choir tracks lately (Thank you, J…). Without naming names, I'll just say that some denominations benefit more than others.mikehalloran wrote: ↑Sun Jun 20, 2021 4:10 pm …After I purchased and installed, I had to reboot my Mac before they would show up in DP. Since I've purchased it, I have no idea the current price on Pan Knob that I posted earlier. Lovin' it.
Some prices change for the better after I log into my user account. You might want to create one first in case the bundle is priced any better once you log in.Here is a panning plugin with a variable crossover — frequencies below stay centered — and adjustable center level.

Re: BOZ Claps, Stomps & Snaps $29
Thanks for the heads-up on this, Mike! I was looking for something like this recently. I just bought the package and they run as independent plugins, not Kontakt instruments.

Just picked up the claps/stomps/snaps, then got inspired and got the panner, too. Total was under $60. Thanks for the reminder Mike!

Let us know how you like the Panner plug. I was looking at that as well. It seems to be more headphone focused, so I didn't go ahead and get it this time.

Re: Plug-in Sales and Special Deals Sticky Topic
The panner looks like a great way to keep low end information (which is perceived as non-localized by listeners) from straying from center, so should contribute to solid bottom end in mixes. Also, variable Pan Law, which may come in handy as I always strive for Mono/Stereo compatibility.

Re: BOZ Claps, Stomps & Snaps $29
You're right. Not sure how that stayed in there.
There are times when you want to pan a signal leaving the low frequencies centered in the mix and this just does it. What surprised me is that I have found it useful on some of my virtual choir tracks. I like my basses panned L but some anthems get way down there. Since we're not in a room, using the Pan Knob lets me get a more natural sound by leaving the lowest frequencies in the middle. Reverb doesn't quite get it there.Let us know how you like the Panner plug. I was looking at that as well. It seems to be more headphone focused, so I didn't go ahead and get it this time.

To help them out, Plugin Alliance is putting on a sale of 30+ brands of plugins they offer with 100% of the proceeds going to help Brainworx get back on their feet. Might be a good opportunity to get a few deals and help these guys out at the same time.

Thanks for the heads-up. I own a few of their plugs outright and have others on subscription. Big fan of bx_limiter True Peak among others.Rick Cornish wrote: ↑Tue Aug 17, 2021 6:37 am I just read that Brainworx Studios was virtually wiped out by the recent flooding in Germany.
