Hi
I have a 3.5 min long guitar ballad played by the client, who want's me to write a string arrangement. The first thing I usually do (in Cubase), is to create a tempo map. But I'm having trouble finding that function in DP11.
What would be the easiest way to do that?
Thanks!

Re: Tempo detection in DP11
Do you know the tempo? Is it consistent? If so, just line it up in DP and set the tempo and you're done. If the tempo is rubato, you can use Record Beats (you tap the tempo in real time along the performance to record the changes) and then Adjust Beats (if necessary, to correct any "mistaps") to create the tempo map. With this technique combo you can move the barline-beat grid to snap to MIDI notes or to audio transients that happen near or at your taps).

Re: Tempo detection in DP11
The commands in Audio>Soundbite Tempo might do what you want. Audio Beats commands are just above it.

Okay
I found the methode to do it!!
Now I will have to set-up VEPro inside DP11! Wow I'm getting to old for this.
Thanks!
