Scroll Bar Hesitating/Jumpy

My scroll bar will hesitate and then jump forward. It doesn't seem to bother the playback. Any solutions to stop this.

It does it on 10 and ll. Macbook Pro 2.5GHz Dual core i5 8GB Memory SSD Drive

A long shot: look at the Getting Started manual on the more obscure settings. Words like "work" and "quanta". I recall problems with graphics dealt with using those settings in earlier versions of DP.

Ahhh... the bad old days. I remember those…

iZotope and other plugins could cause DP to do that if the GUI was open while DP was playing. DP would freeze and unfreeze on the screen but playback was unaffected. The solution was to open the plugin window, do what you needed and close the window—hiding it didn't work. RX2 in DP 7.24 was particularly bad in this regard.

Later versions of iZotope and DP, replacing my drive with an SSD, maxing out my RAM and upgrading the MacOS all worked together to make this issue go away. Still, it wasn't till my iMac Pro that I felt comfortable leaving plugin windows open while DP was playing.
