Strange Mix Fader behaviour

Post by dazzjazz »

Hi,

I have a audio track mix fader issue - it refuses to stay where I put it! The fader respond to the mouse drags but always jumps up in volume after I release the mouse.

I haven't got any automation on the track either.

Help!

Thanks

Is the track assigned to a group or to a VCA fader? I've had that happen when a fader is assigned to a VCA and I end up making a bunch of manual adjustments to the fader. At some point, it just seems to lose its mind.

Or an inadvertent assignment of a MIDI Controller to that fader. I've had to look up how to disable such an assignment now and then when I somehow got a CC on my Breath Controller making the fader dance a mysterious dance.

Thanks, it hasn’t done this madness again. Hopefully it’s gone for good!
