Audio Won't Load in Tracks Window

When I try to drag audio files to the tracks window, nothing happens. The files are rejected. I can import audio and it does show up in the Soundbites window.

Here's what I've tried so far:
1. Re-converetd from WAV to WAV
2. Trashed Preferences
3. Tried to load audio files from a different project
4. Tried to load audio files into a different DP template
5. Tried to load AIFF files

Nothing works. Help, please!

SOLVED!

Thanks for reaching out, Mike. I opened another project and nothing I had sequenced or recorded showed up on the timeline, although I could still hear it. So I went to full panic mode and started digging. I went to the View menu and pulled down Filters, discovering that NONE of the boxes were checked under Global. I've no idea how that happened, but once I selected All, everything in my timeline reappeared and I was also able to add audio tracks without rejection.

I've been using DP since it was just "Performer," and in my experience, when things like this come up, it's usually operator error. No exception here, but still bewildered as to how those boxes became unchecked.
