Has anyone figured out how to get Motu Traveler/CueMix to work with Windows 10, or other tricks?
I'm a little behind the curve and only recently retired my studio ADK 9000 laptop (a workhorse) (WinXP). I am trying to find out whether my perfectly operating Traveler hardware will run in a Win10 environment. Note: I know MOTU does not offer compatibility for the Traveler mk1 per their website.
I could be wrong, but WinXP was a fairly stable platform for me. Upgrading to subsequent Win upgrades left me nervous until Win10.
I've heard all of the arguments & negativity on vendors providing for or not latest drivers, software, etc. That's a war I cant win, so I concentrate on finding a means to getting my problem solved. With your help, I hope you can provide some promising insights.
I realize I may need to buy a new audio interface & the first question comes to mind.
"Which audio companies have the best record of updating their software/driver for older hardware; keeping it current?" I'd like to focus on those vendors who keep up with the times for older hardware should I have to buy another interface.
I've only come across a very old SOS magazine article that vaguely discussed staying current for software/drivers for existing hardware. Unfortunately, SOS was interviewing various product managers, Hmm

Thanks for your insights:
1. Traveler mk1 Win10 compatability
2. Audio vendors who tend to stay current on software/driver updates.
Best Regards,
