Tascam US-428 and Tiger

This is low-end. In my office I have a US-428 USB interface that's handy for scratch recording and some other things.

I recently got around to upgrading my old office G4/400 from Panther to Tiger (10.4.4). The US-428 that worked fine in Panther is now not recognized by my computer.

I've uninstalled the driver, reinstalled the latest one, repaired permissions, rebooted, etc. etc., but to no avail.

Has anyone in this forum had experience with this?
OS X (10.3.9) PB G4 1.5ghz, 2 gig RAM, FW Cardbus/DP 4.6/MOTU 896HD/MOTU 828mkII/Focusrite Octopre/Digital Timepiece/Millenia HV-3C/Aphex 207/Glyph 120 external drive

I've got my US-428 and Tiger working fine, and I never changed any drivers or anything. Not that this will help you, but anyway, it can be done.
