Re: one-key shortcut to quantize in specific values
Sorry to mislead you. This is something I just happened to start using recently. I assumed this feature was always there.

Re: one-key shortcut to quantize in specific values
Hey, bayswater, FMIGUELEZ, CharlzS, waterstrum, tubbsonic !
Thanks for all the feedback! I will try to upgrade to DP10 in between projects. I've been holding off, because DP 9.52 has been pretty stable with Mojave for me...
Regarding Keyboard Maestro, (since it seems to depend on o DP's screen coordinates for successful operation), I'm a bit hesitant, beacuse I use 3 monitors and I'm constantly changing window sets ...
Thanks for all the help!
Daniel

In earlier versions without the mini menu option for key bindings try searching in the Commands window for whatever you named the preset on save. It might be in a section called Region Operation Presets towards the end. I think it's always been there as part of the presets feature, but DP10 just gives you an easier way to get there. I don't remember if 9.x has the Run Command window (cmd spacebar) which would bring up the preset without having to assign a key. Though maybe this is all new with DP10 - 9.x seems like forever ago. Someone threw an expander on my sense of time.

Re: one-key shortcut to quantize in specific values
You might want to hold off updating to V10 for the moment. There have been some problems having 9.5 and 10 installed on the same system at the same time, and if you need to go back to V9, it won't be simple to do.

Re: one-key shortcut to quantize in specific values
KM is very useful selecting quantize values. Keep in mind that once you open the Quantize window you can move through the list with the arrow keys, but KM gives the option of setting up a menu so you can select a value by typing a letter. Check out the Menus feature in KM. It’s very intuitive and saves lots of time.

Re: one-key shortcut to quantize in specific values
Hey Frank!
Thanks for your advice. I guess you mean being able to move through the list of my own quantizing presets once I open the DP 9.52 Quantize Window mini menu, right? I will try to learn KM, the thing is that I'm constantly changing window sets and I think KM will not like that...
I remember being at your studio in the '80s (can't remember if it was a rehearsal or recording session..) I hop you are well.
Best,
Daniel Freiberg
