Printing final mix

Hi all.

I have had this problem many times, but because I usually print through outboard to a second computer, I rarely have to deal with it.
Right now, I have to print the final mix in DP, and when I add a stereo track and try to assign the mix buss as the input, the spinning wheel of death starts, and nothing happens. Period.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you inadvertently causing an infinite loop via your routing choices, perhaps, spiggy?

Unfortunately no. I have come across this problem many times. I have just found work arounds. DP can get confused and overloaded very easily. I work at 96k, which is hard on CPUs. But this problem has nothing to do with that. CPU is running at about 65%.

I have found a way to deal with it because I had to print the mix. Aggregate device, inbuilt digital out via toslink to the interface on the 2nd computer.
