Any way to edit Themes in DP 10.13?

Post by waterstrum »

This is a trivial request.

Back in the day we could edit specifics in the Themes. (external editing)
A convoluted process, but it could be done.
Is this still possible?

I'm mostly using the MOtools theme and just want the counter numbers to be blue.
I have an old MOtools theme that I edited years ago, but it is greyed out and not selectable.

MOTU offers some choices in the Themes preferences, but I'm seeking control of other options.

Is this still possible?
All is well

Some of us don't think it's trivial. I don't use DP as much these days having switched to Studio One, but when I do come and do stuff on DP (the MIDI editing still is better than other DAWS) my customised themes still work fine on 10.13. There are a few windows that need tweaking but mostly okay. So I would say - yes it's possible.

Many of us here have dabbled - I am not going to regurgitate how to do it but do a search - I detailed lots of custom tips, as have others on this forum. It's fun.....
