Reason 11 by Propellerhead

Beta-test public for Propellerhead REASON 11, I would have liked to try to mount the new Reason Rack plug-in, in VST 3 format.
She let's you bring Reason's synths, instruments, effects and sounds anywhere you want with the Reason Rack Plugin in Digital Performer or another DAW.

I was happy and excited because D.P.10 has just accepted the VST 3 format. But here it is: D.P.10 does not validate the of Propellerhead's novelty in VST 3 format like many other plug-ins, by the way. .
The AU format is only revised for this winter.

I'm not in the beta, my copy of Reason is 2.5!
Thinking about upgrading for sure, but you're saying DP fails the VST3? Can you run it anyway?

I'm hoping they'll release the plugin separately; it'd be good for business anyway.

You get it with the "lite" version of Reason, but it's cut-down in its offerings and I'm not gonna pay the full price for Reason just to get the plugin.

I recently updated Digital Performer to version 10, with as main argument, VST3 format . I will try this Reason Rack with REAPER (it's work fine with REAPER, LIVE 10, Bitwig 3 and Studio One) _

At home, the stereo version of the Reason Rack work fine but not the mono version .

Well, there is some good news/bad news on the use of Reason 11 in DP 10.11 under macOS 10.15.6/Catalina for me.

DP 10.11 does correctly scan the VST3 plugins - the Reason Rack Plugin and Rack Plugin Effect.

However, DP 10.11 does not see the Reason Rack Plugin VST3 as an instrument. It treats it like an effect and will only load as an effect-- not useful if you want their synths.

The good news is that the AU version of the Reason Rack Plugin does work as an instrument. However, it does not see the AU version of the effect.

So, to use Reason 11 as a plugin with DP 10.11 you will load the AU to use as an instrument and the VST3 to use as an effect.

FYI, under macOS 10.15.6, Logic Pro X correctly sees the Reason Rack AU as an instrument and as an effect. In addition, Roland Zenbeats correctly sees the Reason Rack VST3 as an instrument and an effect.

Will be filing a TechLink with MOTU and will let you all know what they say.
