Phrase Marks in QuickScribe

Post by lampfilmusic »

When, oh when, oh when is it going to be possible to insert simple phrase marks into DP's music notation window?

A score is meaningless without them. :brucelee:

There was a time when not using them was customary.

Many of the most profound and meaningful masterworks ever created in the music literature were written with little to no phrase marks at all. Musicians were assumed to be musical enough to understand the music without them.

I don't think it will happen with MOTU. Use Finale for serious music notation.
Mac Mini Server i7 2.66 GHs/16 GB RAM / OSX 10.14 / DP 9.52
Tascam DM-24, MOTU Track 16, all Spectrasonics' stuff,
Vienna Instruments SUPER PACKAGE, Waves Mercury, slaved iMac and Mac Minis running VEP 7, etc.

FWIW, I've also printed QuickScribe as PDF, opened in Preview and drawn lines in there. They have those drag-to-curve kinda lines.
