You’re very welcome.

Now that you mention it, that threw me, too. Good that you brought it up as I’d upgraded last week and forgot that part.

I responded to someone’s flyer about the $29 promo and thought, Hmmm.... what’s the upgrade price — free? Hellyea! And then I went through the same thing trying to find it.

70% off Ozone 9 Advanced - $149
coupon - e75r3ppm
https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/ ... 9-Advanced

I can't say enough good things about this. The AI that iZotope to automatically master your mix, saves me a massive amount of time, (obviously it's just a starting point), and Tonal Balance Control saves my mixes from extreme balance problems caused by ear fatigue.

A heads up w/Izotope. If you have Ozone or RX Advanced installed and you install a bundle with say, the Standard or Advanced version, it will uninstall any other version with the same number. As long as you know this will happen, that’s ok. Just use the iZotope Product Portal to reinstall Advanced. You don’t want to be surprised when looking for a plug and find it isn’t there anymore. Not all are like this. Nectar 3 and Elements coexist. Anyway, I found this out when I spent $49 recently on an 11 item bundle with all Elements plugs. Yikes! The iZotope Product Portal set me back up but now it tells me I have a number of uninstalled tools—easy to get used to.

I like the Advanced versions of RX & Ozone. Besides the additional functionality, the plugs are broken out individually instead of consolidated as modules in a single plugin.

If only! I bought Ozone 9, which was a beast to install. I also got Synthmaster, RX 7 Elements, and Iris 2, and none of those will install at all! I've tried everything. Even though my iLok account shows the software, and the iLok is working, the software and plugs are simply not authorizing. I'm requesting a refund and canceling even the Ozone 9 purchase.

I'm so fed up with this bullpucky crap.

My recommendation is to save yourself a headache and don't bother. It is not worth the wasted time, effort, and $$$.

Awaiting a reply from plugin boutique and the Synthmaster folks, but I'm not hopeful. Amex will, hopefully, provide a remedy if the vendor doesn't.

Did you install the iZotope Product Portal first? Gotta do that nowadays.

I got all crazy and got their Suite on sale a while ago, but Ozone 9 Advanced is the game changer for me.

Yeah. Even if the other stuff doesn’t work Ozone 9 is still worth the total I paid.

Re: iZotope installation and auth issues (esp. RX7 Advanced)

Post by mhschmieder »

Sorry I didn't see this earlier; I had the same problem and after three failed attempts, iZotope understood the problem and was able to give me advice on how to quickly resolve it. It sounds quite likely to be the same issue that I faced.

If you have a suite that includes a "lower" version of a product -- especially true of RX -- it can get things into a messy state with lots of Catch-22 issues, and it will not see you as owning a more complete or advanced edition.

I don't have the resolution handy, but it involved removing all files on my system that are related to lower-level versions, and not just the preferences files. I seem to recall the "extra location" of files to delete, to be fairly easy to find though, and being under the user account.

I'll try to remember to find our email exchange when next I consolidate old and new email onto my desktop. Everything was smooth after that. And yes, they recognize it as a fault at their end that needs addressing, and I believe they said they think they are close to solving it.

Re: IRCAMLabs TS2 (Time Stretch) $49 New; free upgrade TS 2

Post by mikehalloran »

For those who missed the introductory price when it went to the $199 list, IRCAM Labs has put TS2 on sale again for $49.

https://www.ircamlab.com/products/p1680-TS2/

I see the current version is now 2.1.3. If your copy is older, just download and install. v.2 will find your v.1 license.

Back when version 2 came out, this threw me, too.

IRCAM TS (v.1) is a 64 bit app and still works in Mojave. Its limited functionality saves time on occasion so it still gets used. I've not tried it over Catalina but I'm guessing it will still work.
