Hi there, everyone
I am new here, but this forum already helped me a lot. I'm only writing this topic since i followed a bunch of instructions in other topics and still have some problems
I have a Ultralite Mk3 running in a windows 7 64bit Dell laptop
When I first tried to use the Mk3 i had problems with blue screen errors as soon as some sound came from the speakers. Followed some instructions here and update almost every driver in my computer (including BIOS update), ran process hacker to see which process or service could be getting in my way and got rid of everything not been used, etc. Problem solved.
Now I don't have more blue screen errors, Ultralite turns on, the system recognizes it, the audio console is installed, running OK. But I cant get no sound from it through the windows regular programs(youtube on firefox for instance). The same thing happens when using a DAW. When I open Reaper, everything is set ok on device preferences, it should be running smooth but again, NO SOUND.
Can anybody help?
Thanks in advance,
Pedro

Re: UltraLite MK3 - No sound on windows 7
Updating
After reading another thread here I found out something of great help. There's a driver called VOICEMEETER from VBaudio (it's a free/donationware) that made things considerabily better. Following the instructions in this other thread I just installed it and ran it to do the job of MOTU AUDIO FOR 64 bit. You just have to disable the motu audio for 64 bit driver in windows' device manager, open the voice meeter and choose MOTU AUDIO ASIO on the output A1. After doing that everything is running smoothly. No apparent problems in the computer audio and the DAW (reaper) is doing fine, I even recorded some drums here and it behaved very well.
The only thing that's annoying me is when I turn on the Ultra Lite and the Voice meeter it's 1 out 3 chances it will work fine. The other 2 times nothing happens, so I have to keep trying, turning off and on waiting for a positive answer.
I know it's a minor issue, i've narrowed it down pretty much with the help of other posts. I created this post because someone in the future could have a similar problem... and also I'm still not finished, if somebody could help with this final issue it would be great.
In this scenario where I turn the ultralite and have no response, it shows on the LCD screen a frozen bar on analog 6, like there's some sound coming from there and there's not. All the settings of this output are normal and there's nothing plugged there.
Thanks again,
Pedro
