I'm using musicxml file to convert my MIDI tracks to sibelius . all instrument tracks are fine except
the drum track , which converts into a track with bass clef and conventional notes ( not drum notation).
, I went into the DP script editor and the drum track is on bass clef, it does not have the option to convert the clef into drum clef..... anyhow, I tried to change the track into drum clef in sibelius and the track turns to gibberish .Is there a fix for this ?
getting dp10 drum notation over to sibelius

Try exporting as MusicXML and importing that.

Hey Mike, thanks for your response ! greetings from the norcal east bay. as far as i know, I exported the MIDI tracks from DP as musicmxl and Sibelius doesn't do an "import" . Sib can just open the mxl files and shows the drum tracks in bass clef. I might just export the drum track only as MIDI then import it in sib as a work around.

You might want to check with Sibelius user groups about the best way to import MIDI or MusicXML percussion so that it displays correctly. There may be some preferences you can set to make it easier.
