Hi!
I evaluated DP 10, it is fine, but I don't need it now. I carefully saved my projects as DP9 projects for the time my demo expires. There is one project, which I can not open, I probably altered only the file name and forgot in the night to change the save format from DP10 to DP 9.
You think it is working if somebody opens the DP10 version of my project file - without audio - saves it as DP9 and sends it back to me ?
Anybody willing to help me, if this is a working solution ?
Thanks for listening.

You need to reinstall DP 9.52 to restore functionality after the DP 10 install.

Re: opening DP9 project after expired DP10 demo
Ahhh... Yikes!
If you can roll back your system clock to before the DP 10 time out date, this should allow you to reopen 10. You may have to disconnect from the internet temporarily. Then Save As ... a DP 9 project. You’ll still have to reinstall DP 9.52 to bring it back to life.
If that doesn’t work... Your audio files will be in the Project Folder so those can be dropped into a new project in DP 9 (after you reinstall) so those will not be lost. I don’t know that you’ll be able to recover any of the rest of it.

Re: opening DP9 project after expired DP10 demo
Thanks, that's a good advice for the next time, because I uninstalled DP 10 already. My idea is to send the accidentally saved DP 10 project file to a DP 10 owner and ask him to save it as a DP9 file. You think this could work ?mikehalloran wrote:Ahhh... Yikes!

Problem solved. A DP guy was willing to help me, I sent him my project file, he converted it to DP9, sent it back and it's working fine.
