Hello,
I use DP8, and used to have no trouble correcting pitch by dragging selected notes within a soundbite until my hard drive crashed one day. On restoration I found that the pointy finger icon would often change to the lassoo icon as soon as I attempted to drag the cursor beyond the selection.
It will still work like it's supposed to, but often I have to repeat the action five or six times until it behaves properly.
Is there something in Preferences I should change perhaps?
I'd be most grateful for any assistance!

Many thanks, so do I.
But that isn't the problem, alas!
