Izotope compatibility with DP 10

Post by Buzzy »

Izotope has some pretty hard to resist deals going on for a few more days, especially if you already own some of their stuff.

I'm looking into their Music Production Bundle (link below). I've noticed some of their main products, for example Ozone 9 Advanced show no compatibility with DP at all. Others, like RX7 are only DP9 compatible according to their listed specs.

Is anybody using these newer version plug-ins? I'm thinking of buying them and stalling my DP10 installation. But if Ozone Advanced doesn't work at all that might be a deal breaker.

I use it every day.

The only problems I’ve experienced were som RX6 Advanced plugins lurking in old templates that I opened in DP 10. Changing them to 7 fixed the issue.

Thanks for the quick reply Mike. I did see that post prior to asking my own question. But I noticed that was regarding Ozone 9 elements.

Are you saying you use Ozone 9 advanced with DP 10? :?:

I use that combo all the time. Love Ozone 9 Advanced, and Tonal Balance Control. Completely changed the way and speed that I mix and master in.

I agree with Michael.
All of the Izotope 9 plugs are working fine in DP10.11
A treasure trove of cool tools.

Decrackler just saved a critical recording. Denoiser can make a bad mic connection go away. Such great plugs.
