Motu 828 mkII / 8 Pre macOS 10.15 Catalina 32-bit 64-bit

Hi there, desperately need for help.
I bought an old 828 mk2, USB version, I'm running a macbook pro from 2013 w/ Catalina OS. the soundcard is recognized.
I owned already a 2408 mk3 and a 24 I/O in my studio, but since we are all quarantined, I've got this little 828 mk2 for home.
Problem, I can't make it work, signal enters the sound card in every channel, outs are fine, but when I open Cubase 10,5 or Logic, I still have the out but I can't record anything, totally empty.
where did I make a mistake?
I'm quite lost with the DSP screen, looks complicated to me.
please help.

EDIT: found the answer, it's this stupid security and privacy from Catalina, I didn't allow Cubase, protools and Locic to use the microphone

Hi - just to confirm the latest drivers for the 828x work just fine with the mkII under Catalina. This is on a new MBP 16" Mac.

I wonder why they won't just update the website to reflect that heh. The drivers also work great under Mojave, but most people are going to run and grab the older one that specifically says 'Mojave'. I just scored an 828x for $200 this morning and swapped it out in the rack with the 828MK2 and everything is still going as it was before.

Hello all, I have an 828 mk3 Hybrid that I am trying to pair with a new MacBook Pro OSX 10.15.4 (19E287), I migrated everything over from my previous machine which was stable, my issue here is the machine is just not recognising the hardware at all, I have the latest driver installed (1.6 83634).

Any help on this subject greatly appreciated, waited a long time to upgrade my machine and now this setback is super frustrating.

After further research i've sorted this, deleted all MOTU software & apps, reinstalled, accepted the new apps via the privacy & security section in system prefs., finally recognised the interface in my audio preferences. Problem solved for now.
