Dp 9.52 and Catalina
Hi - I've searched the forums but can't find a definitive answer that doesn't involve hardware drivers, plugins. Question: is ANYONE successfully running DP 9.52 with Catalina? Can it be done? I have other non-music software bugging me for an update to Catalina
Thanks in advance!

Digital Performer and Performer Lite
Digital Performer 10.11 is compatible with macOS Catalina. Please note that you may see an alert when you first launch DP, which you can ignore and click OK to dismiss. For further information, please read this Apple tech note. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202491
Earlier versions of DP are not officially qualified for macOS Catalina, although DP 10.01 appears to run fine under macOS Catalina.
Some third-party audio plug-ins may not be compatible with Digital Performer when running on macOS Catalina. If you are experiencing issues, try removing the plug-in from your system, or try disabling all third-party plug-ins (safe mode).

Thanks for that
Still doesn't address the DP 9 situation. I guess I'll just have to give it a try and see what explodes

Yes, it does address DP 9. DP 9 is a version earlier than DP 10.11, and so as stated on the MOTU site, it is not compatible with Catalina.pianojohn wrote:Thanks for thatStill doesn't address the DP 9 situation. I guess I'll just have to give it a try and see what explodes

Re: Dp 9.52 and Catalina
I've been using 9.52 on Catalina for months without any issues (other than 32-bit plugs no longer working, but everything I use has been upgraded to 64-bit at this point).
But, I'm just mixing. I do my recording on a 2012 MacPro5,1 running High Sierra.
My only other issue I have is DP won't save to a network drive, but I have the same issue on the High Sierra Mac. It's not a Catalina bug.

Re: Dp 9.52 and Catalina
That isn't a DP issue either other than being particular about permissions and privileges. A slow connection to the drive is not good.My only other issue I have is DP won't save to a network drive, but I have the same issue on the High Sierra Mac. It's not a Catalina bug.
