Crash on opening a project
Just had a crash on open yesterday with DP 10.11. After re booting DP, my open recent list was blank and preferences were reset. Has anyone else seen this? Are preference files recoverable? Where are they located?

Re: Crash on opening a project
If you back up with Time Machine, you can go to the screen with your project folder, go to your menu bar to Time Machine, look at the drop down and click on Enter Time Machine.
The screen will change. On the right, you will see that you can scroll back a few hours, days or longer to a time before this happened—best to aim for the last backup before the crash. After awhile, the screen will go from blank and you'll see your project folder again. Click on it. The Restore button will now be active. You'll get a pop up asking if you want both folders or to overwrite the current one—make a choice. After awhile, your older copy will be back.
If on an SSD running High Sierra-on over APFS, the above process takes a few minutes—3 yesterday for me for a 1.47GB DP project folder. APFS Snapshots are stored for 24 hours. I thought that Logic had finished updating and was closed when I opened up DP. Note to self: Don't do that again!!! Time Machine saved me many hours of re-do.
If on Sierra or older, it can take an hour or so or more since it has to look up each backup on your Time Machine drive.
