I've got a tech link open but I'm having trouble getting Motu to reproduce the problem. Can anyone else confirm? The issue is with the Quickscribe mini menu command: 'Split Selected Normal Notes'. Here is what I do to reproduce it:
Firstly, in the Quickscribe mini menu, check that 'Display Only Notes' > 'Display' is checked (and only that i.e not 'Play') and in the 'Playback Only Notes'> 'Play' is checked (and only Play.. not 'Display')
1. In Quickscribe create some notes (quite a lot)
2. Select those notes.
3. Go to the mini menu and execute: 'Split Selected Normal Notes'
4. Now, keeping Quickscribe open (popped out), go to the MIDI window. Both versions of the notes can be edited by selecting them in the Event List and bringing them to the front..
However, if I want to show only the 'Playback Only' notes (all of them, in one go) in the MIDI window, I use the 'View Filter' window.
And this is when the problems start for me:
In the View Filter window:
Select 'Playback Only Notes' (in 'Global' and/or 'Event List')
Select 'Display Only Notes' (in 'Global' and/or 'Event List')
As soon as you start to use these options repeatedly, problems begin, strange errors arrive such as 'Vector Error' , notes appear in the Event List without any positional reference..and DP eventually crashes.
I went back to DP 9.02 and none of this happened.
Can anyone confirm (or not of course)..I would really appreciate it!
