Export as an MP4

Hey guys, cannot remember if this has been talked about. I,m on latest ver of 10. I want to export in the Soundbites window a 96/24 file as an MP4. It is not doing it.I tried AAC and same thing.FLAC works and MP3. Am I doing something wrong, thanks !

I might be wrong, but I remember more audio format options in the File>Export menu that there are now. But you can find MP4 if you select Soundbites, right click, and scroll to Export Selected Soundbites ... In the bottom half of the file export dialog is a drop down Format menu. In the lower part of that is a list of CoreAudio formats including MP4. You can find all the same formats in Bounce to Disk.

Maybe MOTU has deprecated File>Export in favour of the new expanded Bounce function.

Are you using the last version of DP you installed? Unless you have each version on a separate boot drive, the last version installed will be the only one showing the full export menu.

Each installation overwrites files with the dame name in the shared resources folder.

I’d defer ti iSkySoft for all export issues beyond bwave or MP3. Just sayin’

All the choices are there. I am using the latest version but I have the earlier version of 10 installed also.Nothing happens when I go to export the 96/24 file as an MP4 or AAC. It works in Wavelab.Not sure what the problem would be.
