Haven't seen a post from our old friend Shooshie for some time. Hope he's OK. Anyone heard from him?

He spends way too much time on Facebook. He's been cheating on us.

Re: Shooshie
Heard back from Shooshie, and he invited me to share here...
I moved to the ranch a couple years ago, but it took 18 months to get it ready to move my wife and pets and everything else. It’s been one of the hardest things I ever did, but we’re over the hump now, and things are starting to get easier. Or were, until this pandemic!
I decided to let go of the music business for a while, maybe indefinitely. WIthout music to push me, I have not had a desktop computer hooked up or turned on in 2 years. Strangest feeling ever. I used to know DP forward, backward, inside and out. Now I don’t remember if I could even boot it up! There’s a strong chance that I’ll get back into it in about a year. In the meantime, I’ve been practicing piano like a pro. Got my scales and arpeggios up to quarter note =160, in 16ths. My reading is getting better, and I’m enjoying perusing some of the tons of repertoire I’ve been collecting all my life. I never considered myself a pianist before, but now... maybe so.
I live about 14 miles from the nearest town, which has a population of 16,200. A lifelong Texan, I am now living in Oklahoma. That’s part of my reason for the music business hiatus. Not much music going on here, and there’s no internet out where I live. Just a cell tower 6 miles from here. Late at night I can stream video with occasional interruptions, but during the day it may take up to 15 minutes to send a text message. Hardly a chance of uploading more than a MIDI file, and updating apps and OSs? Fuggedaboudit.
Lots of work on the ranch. It keeps me awfully busy. But I think of you guys often, and wonder what everyone is up to. It means a lot to me that you reached out and said hello. Thanks!
My best to everyone...

It’s nice when good things happen to good people.
You saved my butt more than once Shooshie! Enjoy your new digs!

Good for him, and hopefully this also means he's at super-low risk of the epidemic.

Re: Shooshie
I remember Shoosh saying a few years back that he was gonna take a break for an unspecified period, so I've tried not to worry.
I do love him so.
