Just purchased this unit. I am able to use for audio and line input sound etc --however the MOTU Discovery software it came with says "There are no devices currently connected.".
I want to check what firmware update it came with out of the box and updated if needed. I have it connected to a USB 3.0 port on my desktop currently running Windows 10. Thanks for any assistance.

Re: MOTU M2 Firmware
Just bumping this - I have had no replies. I want to know how I can update the firmware when my Motu is not being recognized by the firmware updater.

Unless someone chimes in quickly here, I'd reach out to MOTU directly. (in case you weren't aware, this is not a MOTU-run website.)

Re: MOTU M2 Firmware
MOTU hardware firmware versions and updaters are normally posted on this page. Searching the MOTU web site does not bring it up but a Google search does.

That the M2/M4 are not listed indicates that there have not been any updates released—but that is not certain.
Otherwise,
