mk4 as mixer for rehearsal

Post by Godly »

Hi folks,
I have an mk4 that I would like to use for monitoring on rehearsals.
Until now, the motu is used as soundcard for my vst plugins and 1 external synth input. and 1 line for monitoring input on stage (via XLR mic)

How can I setup to have the drums, bass, guitars, singers, input into my soundcard.
I probably need to have an extra IO hardware for this?

Also, there's some small latency I hear when mixing the monitor. So how can this be compensated?

I’m assuming the UltraLite mk4, yes?

It’s a very flexible unit with a great deal of capability and can pretty much do what you want. How? Depends on what you’re trying to accomplish exactly and you haven’t given much of a clue — including if you want to do it in stand-alone mode or connected to your workstation.

Some quality time spent with the manual and routing diagrams ought to point you in the right direction.

Yes, you may need additional I/O... possibly... it depends.

Thanks for your reply,

What extra hardware do I need for all the IO?
