EDIT:
At first I missed the cable which was tucked into a little compartment in the front of the box.

Please excuse and dismiss my previous post, saying there wasn't a cable.

Wonder if that was a mistake? At motu.com, under Specs/Feature Highlights for both M2 and M4:

"Bus powered USB-C (compatible with USB Type A) with power switch (USB cable included)"

Better drop a note or make a call and ask for the cable. I remember seeing somewhere that a certain cable or adaptor is an optional extra, but as per above, a basic C to A cable should have been included.

Ah, it was just me being dumb. There was a little compartment in the front of the box that included the cable. Right there! Will correct above post.

Which connectors? USB-C to USB-C or USB-C to USB-A.

The cord is USB-C to USB-A

Nice box. Feels sturdy. Main knob not a push encoder. Jacks feel unyielding (so perhaps braced well internally).

Maybe a dumb question, but would it make any difference if I use a Micro to USB-C adapter? (as opposed to a standard USB C cable)?

Have you installed Performer Lite?
Honestly I'm curious if it has the aftertouch bug that DP10 does, where it records it, but doesn't play it back.

I'm probably not going to install Performer Lite. I suppose if I have time, I could install it on one of my external boot volumes. Been busy as heck, though. I will probably have some downtime next week, where I'll be able to test and report.

Exactly. I wouldn't put it on a working volume without assurance there is no conflict between PL 10.1 and DP 10.01

Isn't it pretty much the same sound lib that came with DP 10? I didn't download that because it was the same as a library I already had with Mach5.

Mostly you're getting a preview of the possible new features in DP10. I'm also struggling to see how Lite is truly crippled? But yeah as mentioned it could possibly mess with DP10 so I get it. I would instal it but..
