This track is “Things Fall Apart” from an album titled “The Thread” by Alex Smith - released earlier this year. Alex was the lead singer of Australian 80s outfit “Moving Pictures” who enjoyed major success in that decade, including a national number 1 album, number 1 single. Alex disappeared from the music biz for a time but has returned with new vigour and a great batch of new songs.
The album was tracked elsewhere but I mixed and mastered it in DP with Waves and my analogue summing set up here in Sydney.

Another track from this album went to Number 1 on the Australian Radio Indie charts this week. I’ve mixed and/or mastered quite a few top 10 singles and albums over the years - this is my first number 1
