Seriously... I just thought I'd post about my lurking behavior on the forum as of late. The lack of Aftertouch during playback is a serious problem for me. I'm currently doing rhythm tracking for my band's new album, but sooner than later I'm going to have to do keys and solos, and I NEED my MonoPressure back in the game. The clock is ticking. If it doesn't, I'll have to convert back to DP9, which may be a huge hassle since DP9/10 don't really live in harmony side-by-side, so that means ALL my projects will need to be converted.

I'm just praying MOTU fixes the issue in the next 3 weeks or so, or else it's going to make my life miserable. This is probably the first time in the ~18 years I've used DP that it's literally caused me noticeable stress.

I hear you. Tired of bouncing around DAWs to get things done. If it makes you feel any better I've gone as far as asking Tech Support for a hotfix update. I don't need fixes to Clips right now, just aftertouch back.

With the impending release of Catalina, all DAWs will break.

MOTU will have their hands full getting DP 10.x ready for the new O.S., and even then, I get the impression it'll be rough sailing for a while. Goodbye 32-bit, and we'll need all new drivers for all our non-class-compliant interfaces.

Ultimately, we'll all appreciate the added layers of security and permissions-- in terms of "peace of mind" but it'll be hard fought and brutal.

On one hand, I'm worried about the Mac world getting a little more closed in terms of loading 3rd party software, on the other hand, security on Mac is becoming more of a challenge.
