Noise/Hiss on DP 9.51 When Playing Garritan CFX Lite

Hello,

I am having an issue using Garritan CFX Lite piano plugin with DP 9.51. When I press the MIDI keys on my keyboard and also playback the MIDI track of CFX Lite, I hear what sounds like hiss/white noise along with the piano sound. The CFX Lite library is on an external Lacie SSD. This is not happening with American Concert D Ivory II in DP 9.51. I have messed with the settings in the CFX Lite plugin with no success. My system is as follows:

Mac OSX El Capitan Version 10.11.6
2.7 Ghz Intel Core I5
20 GB 1333 MHZ DDR3

I love the CFX Lite piano sound but I can't use it with this hiss/noise issue. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I see you posted this more than a year ago and unfortunately nobody could help you. I was wondering if you foud a solution yet. I have the exact same problem and I'm dying to find a solution. If you fixed it, please tell me how you did it.

Hmmmm... one Windows; the other a Mac.

Are both running DP 9.51?

Which player are you using — Aria or another and what version?

A brief web search suggests the noise issue is inherent within the GarritanCFX plug-in.

I don't use digital performer. I use the garritan standalone player, or when I record I use it as a plugin in Cubase for example. My piano is a Roland Lx708 and audio interface presonus audiobox iTwo

Not everyone has this issue. I asked several people who don't hear this sound on every note. Also, when I listen to other people on YouTube using the garritan CFX I don't hear any distracting noise at all. But in my recording the noise is just too loud for uploading. So for me it has no use. Too bad, because it was $160.

Hi Everyone. I appreciate the feedback. I previously contacted Garritan about this issue and they were unable to resolve the issue although. After that, I was able to adjust the settings in my audio interface at an appropriate level were the noise level has diminished enough where it is usable. I believe I adjusted the software return level.
