24I/O Dp only allowing 8 channels in input

I just got a 24I/O and went to bundles and added tracks so as to have 24 of them. Dp bundles only its me have 8 channels. How do I assign all 24 tracks in Dp, I read the manual but it did not solve the problem. I am down loading desk now.

I have all 24 channels coming out of a mixing board as balanced inputs. I can record on the first 8 channels, but in Dp9 I only get 8 channels I can see. I can not assign the other 16 channels to any input. For some reason I am not getting the picture of bundles to post. but it has 8 analog inputs across the top and 24 going down. I canot assign any of the 24 going down to any track higher than 8. I know this has to be some kind of set up in the 24I/O. I will keep reading in hopes of figuring it but any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Open up the MOTU PCI Audio Setup and turn on the other 16 channels

Exactly, Rick.

Tom, by default only one block of channels is made active. In the PCI-setup app, do as Rick says, but also be sure to activate as many outputs as you'll need as well.

The other 16 inputs will "magically" be added across the top in your input-bundles window.
