I've never used wave plugins much and although I was using DP on a newer setup for live gigs extensively, I've never really done anything meaningful with this particular home recording setup and have hardly looked at it for four years. It's the last 17" MBP i5 and I've been clinging onto it because it has the expresscard slot for my UAD Solo Laptop thing. The interface is a Presonus StudioLive 16.4.2 that I had big plans for but then a move forced home recording plans onto the back burner.
So in a lot of ways I'm starting over with this whole thing and there's been a lot of hassle with software updates (some I wish I hadn't done), trying to remember passwords, renew licenses, remember (or learn) how some of this software/hardware works and just generally trying to get back into it.
I appreciate the helpful responses. Currently I'm trying to download a couple Waves plugins onto that computer. At the rate it appears to be downloading that might finish by sometime next month.
How Can I Force DP to Rescan the AU Plug ins?
