DP9.52 - Copying Volume Automation Between Audio Tracks

Post by bwroberts »

A quick question regarding copying volume automation nodes from audio track to audio track via the sequence editor.

Every time I copy the volume node or selection of nodes via the ibeam tool, it copies the automation data, AS WELL AS the sound file region for that selection (whether I PASTE or MERGE). All I want to do is copy volume nodes (not the audio track or audio selection). This happens even when I have "Volume" shown in the filter. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Many thanks!

Double click on any node to select all and copy.

If you make a selection that includes the soundbite, the soundbite is... included in the selection.

What I commonly do it use the View Filter to hide Soundbites. Make a selection and only the visible data is selected. Paste. Now turn the Soundbite view back on.
