Well, they are working on it but it's not fixed yet. In 10.00 any soundbite created from the pull down audio menu would prevent you from making any cross fade at all on the new modified bite. Now, It allows you to make a crossfade but does not allow it to be positioned over the front of the bite. Instead, it moves it to the right or left of the cut point.
SO, ANY bite created in 10.01 is non compatible with existing audio. Have not tried this with waveforms created in 10.01 though. If you have ongoing projects from 9.52 or earlier do not use audio pulldown menu items or you will be making corrupted sound bites that stay corrupted.
I have teamed viewed MOTU on 10.00 and just now 10.01 and they are on it. It is repeatable on any system. I plan to wait for this fix to buy. Regards, Gary B
