AAF and OMF export crash DP 10

Post by BobK »

AAF and OMF export both crash DP 10 right after I click "OK" in the OMF/AAF Export Options dialog. The only change I made to default settings was to include audio files in the export.

Restarted the computer. Tried another DP Project. Same result after 3-4 attempts.

The projects I tested are very simple: they contain audio only, about a dozen tracks, one Soundbite/WAV file per track, 96/24. No edits, fades, plugins, or automation.

Anybody having success with this?

I tried AAF and it crashed. Do you have DP 9 and 10 on the same partition? I did this with DP 10, but it sent a DP 9 crash report to MOTU. All the same things happened with an OMF export.

Tried it all again with DP 9.5.2. No crash, but no export files either.

I wonder if this is a result of DP9-10 conflict?

Same here. I can Export AAFs with audio with DP9, but the same operation crashes DP10. Definitely needs a TechLink.

Never worked for me.The work around I discovered is open the OMF or AAF file in Audio Desk and save it as a DP file.

This is about an error when you export from DP 10.

I think we're doing regression testing. Most of these bugs are things that worked before, and should have been caught before 10 went out for beta testing.

I was about to crack that at least import and export behavior was now consistent, but it seems like importing AAFs is fine now btw. I'm not sure when that got fixed.
