OK, here's a weird one.
DP 9.51
I got a project in which there are 2 MIDI tracks. I recorded the 2 tracks at 92 bpm, slower than the final tempo. Finished the 2nd track, increased the tempo to 106 bpm. The first track, targeting an outboard synth, speeds up and locks to the new tempo, no problem, like MIDI tracks have been doing since forever in DP. The second track, controlling a VI, behaves as if it was an audio track, i.e., when I speed the tempo up, its start point slips down a couple beats later, and it seems to be still playing at 92 bpm.
Never seen this before. Probably something simple, but, well, color me baffled.
Thanks for any hints. DP has been my DAW of choice for going on 25 years, but occasionally it still throws me a curve...

Re: MIDI track behaving like audio track?
That would happen if the track is locked, I think.

Yup, that was it. Figured it was something like that. Thanks for the help, all....bayswater wrote:That would happen if the track is locked, I think.
