If that is what's happening the "QuickTime Export.bundle" and "Core Audio Export.bundle" installed with DP10 isn't compatible with DP9 and you'll either need to reinstall 9.52 to get those prefs or TimeMachine back and get them. They reside at Library > Audio > Plugins > MOTU Audio Export. ...I'll try this when I have a chance and report back, but it sure sounds like the same drill.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! This was exactly going to be my next question, is "where is this preference file". What I'll do is reinstall DP9.52, copy the Core Audio Export bundle, then eventually re-install DP10 when I decide to switch full time, but use the old DP9 Core Audio bundle, and see whether that works universally.

Good to know that reinstalling DP9.52 restores it. That's really all I need, I'm not planning on switching to DP10 permanently for a while.
Ah. Sorry. It's not in the User Library. It's in the System Library. So MacBoot Drive > Library > Audio > Plugins > MOTU Audio Export. ...please let us know if that works.

Okay, I reinstalled DP9.52 and all the Core Audio components returned. They also seem accessible to DP10. HOWEVER, DP10 appears to use a different Theme type, which is incompatible with older versions (probably to skin the new clips window), so when installing DP9, DP10 can't use any theme but the default. DP10 themes can work with DP9 though (which isn't surprising since they're XML, and DP9 simply doesn't access the new data).

There's probably a decent way of Frankensteining the installs. You could choose the Export settings from DP9, the Themes from DP10, and build a pretty workable preference hybrid. But I'm not going to bother. I'll stick with DP9 for now and reinstall DP10 when I feel it's ready for Prime Time. I currently have it installed so I can try it, but I'm just stuck on the super-bright default theme. Who knows what else is broken by using DP9 preferences.
