I always use either:

File/Save As.../Format: Standard MIDI File

Or

File/Export/Selection as MIDI

I know I can drag & drop SMF/MID files onto the chunks window, but dragging chunks from that window onto the Finder window always makes clippings.
M1 MBP; OS 15.3, FF800, DP 11.33, PC3K7, K2661, iPad6, Godin XTSA (w/ SY-1000), 2 Ibanez 5-string basses (1 fretted, 1 fretless), FX galore

But why when dragging a clip, and not MIDI file?
Maybe I don’t know with which button you have to drag the MIDI file?
I think I have already tried all the options!))
