MIDI & Active USB Cables

Has anyone had any success with long active usb cables like from Cable to Go?

I would like to use one of these with the Motu MTP/AV.

OK, so the cable seems to work fine. I'm surprised. But I haven't noticed any issues. No lag that I can tell. No stuck notes etc.
