Auto increase/enumerate MIDI output channel in track list

Post by dewaard »

Hi,

I would like to know if there's a way that I can select 16 MIDI tracks and let DP automatically assign the next MIDI channel of the selected output for each next track in the selection?

So that I can set the first selected track to "Vienna Ensemble Pro MAS-1 : 01-01" and that it automatically assigns:

Track2: => "Vienna Ensemble Pro MAS-1 : 01-02
Track3: => "Vienna Ensemble Pro MAS-1 : 01-03
Track4: => "Vienna Ensemble Pro MAS-1 : 01-04

etc..

In Cubase this can be achieved by holding down a certain key while setting the first channel.. can this be done in DP? This would save me allot of time :-)

Thanks!

“Create new tracks with options” or something like that. You can also designate how many instances of the VI you want and create multiple tracks and even create track folders for each instance (instantiation) from there. I think it’s under the Project menu.
