Turned on the studio to do keyboard overdubs. I couldn't get the instrument to play. The Arturia Vox would sound if I clicked on the keyboard. Checked all my connections. Peavey DP Si > MIDI Timepiece I use as a patch batch bay > Fast Lane > MIDI input. Bought a new Fast Lane thinking that might be the problem. No.
rebuilt my MIDI Set Up. installed latest drivers. MIDI Monitor show signal coming in on Ch 1
Still nothing. I've opened other projects and different instruments. Nothing.
Maybe a related issue. Logic developed the same problem a while back. I discovered by accident it would work if DP was open.
Am I missing something that might have changed?
I haven't done any updates. Added some new Waves Plugs, but it everything was working fine after the most recent addition.
Help?

Problem solved.
I did check the input filter. No issue there. Made me think. I occasionally have to initialize the memory of my old Peavy controller. That was the cure. Back in business and one Fast Lane richer.
