I've had an ongoing problem when printing notation from DP that the staff lines on paper are so thin as to barely be visible. I have a new printer, so I can see them a little better, but they are still incredibly thin, making them look less like proper notation, and more like notes floating on ghost lines.
I read somewhere that this could be an instruction from the origin software designating a line as a "hairline" which is a one-pixel line at the receiving devices resolution.
There's a function in some version of acrobat pro that will thicken hairlines per a user setting. Is there something like that in the Mac OS?
I've tried using the export/PDF (quarts: decrease lightness) but it puts a grey background on it.
QuickScribe Staff Lines are Hairlines. Is there a fix?
