This app can't run on your PC.
I just bought a new Dell laptop, 8550u processor and 16 GB of ram, and when I try to install DP 8.07, I get the message: This app can't run on your PC. When I download the installer I get 2 files: DP806Full and DP806Full.exe.part . I'm trying to hold out for DP 10 and need a little more mileage on DP8. I am also running it on my Mac. Any ideas?

DP 8 isn't supported on Win 10 as far as I know but the error is not uncommon when installing older applications (there are Mac versions of it, too).

Call MOTU and see if they will promise a DP10 license if you move to 9.51 now. Based on similar past threads, MOTU has accommodated others. I just tried to install DP 9.5 from the web site and got exactly the same results: DP951(74138)Full and DP951(74138)Full.exe.part and when I click either one I get: This app can't run on your PC.
