Crashing when erasing muted MIDI notes. Bug?

Post by toodamnhip »

I am trying to erase all muted MIDI notes, (“display only”) notes. In one section, Dp started crashing any time I tried to erase that sections muted MIDI.

After many many crashes, I found that DP crashed whenever it tried to erase muted MIDI notes that are a duplicate!
Therefore-
It is my finding that erasing MIDI muted note when more than one of the notes are on the same exact beat, causes a crash. The workaround is to highlight each individual note at that time potion, one at a time, and erase them. If you highlight more than one muted MIDI note, either in the MIDI window, or, in the event list, you will get an immediate crash.

PS.
I have a need to move back from DP 9.51 to 8. (Long story)
Before going back to 8, I need to erase muted MIDI/"display only” notes so that muted notes will not start playing in DP 8.
