Crashing in Audio Beat Quantize

Using DP9.5 and attempting to quantize audio beats within soundbites, and DP instantly crashes every time I hit apply. I've tried all the prescribed solutions (opening in safe mode, fresh project, deleting preferences, etc.) and no joy. Any ideas?

Called support and got the answer. Known issue with 9.5 and older Macs. The time-stretching in 9.5 doesn't play well with my MacBook Pro from 2009. Not the OS, but some other incompatibility. Temporary solution is to revert to v.9.12. A fix is coming in the next version.

Why 9.12?

DP 9.13 is optimized for OS 10.11 and later.
